Terms of membership
DRAFT - this set of terms is a draft for review and is not yet in force. Details in [square brackets] are still to be confirmed.
1. The service
Business Manager provides online tools for running the admin side of a business. The customer is your organisation; the person who signs up confirms they may agree to these terms for it.
2. Plans and payment
Plans are monthly and roll on until cancelled. Prices are shown without VAT, which is added at the current rate. You pay by Direct Debit on a fixed date each month; we give at least [10] working days' notice of the amount and date. Upgrades take effect at once, with the new price from the next collection; downgrades take effect at the next billing date.
3. Failed payments
If a payment fails we try once more after 5 working days. If it still fails, access is limited until it is paid, and the membership is cancelled after 21 days. We tell you at every step.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel any time from your account. Your plan ends at your next billing date and no further payments are taken.
5. Not advice
Guides, templates and assistant answers are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. Review templates before relying on them. Partner experts are independent and responsible for their own advice.
6. Your content
What you store stays yours. You are responsible for having the right to store it, and for who you share it with.
7. Liability
[Limitation of liability - to be drafted by a solicitor.]
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
